Masa-Daiko

Masa-Daiko, the Japanese drumming group in Northern Germany, presents the original power of the Taiko! Masa-Daiko was founded in 1996 by the artist and multipercussionist Masakazu Nishimine. The up to 8 players of Masa-Daiko perform both traditional Japanese pieces and compositions of Nishimine in an extraordinary way. With enormous power and tension in rhythm and choreography this performance surpasses ordinary concert events by far – a true drumming fireworks. Powerful, energetic, sensual, thrilling!
